Pracetam is a pyrrolidone brain metabolism improving drug that increases central nervous system function. It was developed by American Parke Davis pharmaceutical company and has been clinically proven to improve memory, alertness, and anti-amnesia. Research has also found that its activity is 6-13 times that of piracetam, 3-4 times that of olacetam, and 1.25 times that of aniracetam. Additionally, Praxitan is known to be low-toxicity and well-tolerated, allowing for long-term medication to relieve symptoms and delay the effects of Alzheimer's dementia. Clinically, it is applied to the prevention of senile dementia (Alzheimer's disease) enhancing memory, and additionally as an additive for health care products.
