Pracetam is a drug that improves brain metabolism, belonging to the pyrrolidone class of central nervous system drugs. Developed by the American Parke Davis pharmaceutical company, it has a high ability to improve brain function, enhance memory and promote mental alertness. Clinical experiments have found that its effects are 6-13 times more potent than piracetam, 3-4 times stronger than olacetam, and 1.25 times more effective than aniracetam, but with low toxicity and great tolerance. Praxitan has long-term effects, helping to reduce symptoms and delay the onset of Alzheimer's dementia. Furthermore, it is used clinically to prevent senile dementia (Alzheimer's disease) and improve memory, and often added to health care products as an additive.
