Product Description

Metoclopramide is a white crystalline powder; odorless and bitter in taste. Metoclopramide is soluble in trichloromethane, slightly soluble in ethanol or acetone, very slightly soluble in ether, almost insoluble in water; soluble in acidic solution. Metoclopramide is used as a short-term treatment (4 to 12 weeks) for persistent heartburn when the usual medicines do not work well enough. It is used mostly for heartburn that occurs after a meal or during the daytime. Treating persistent heartburn can decrease the damage done by stomach acid to the swallowing tube (esophagus) and help healing.

Function

It speeds up stomach emptying and movement of the upper intestines.

Application

The application of metronidazole during and after abdominal surgery can prevent visceral traction reactions, reduce nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, intestinal adhesions and other complications. It can also be used to treat renal colic, prevent cesarean section complications, and promote lactation. It has good curative effect in the treatment of migraine and severe urinary retention caused by diabetic neurogenic bladder.
